Phoenix Zoo
Spend a fun-filled day at Phoenix Zoo, where you'll find 1,400 animals from around the world. Located in the mountains of Papago Park and within close proximity of Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport, this family-friendly attraction features a wealth of exhibits, from Monkey Village and Stingray Bay to Giraffe Encounter. There are plenty of onsite dining options, as well as a gift shop to satisfy your souvenir needs. Since Phoenix Zoo is mostly outdoors, remember to bring sunscreen, a hat, and water. If you forget water, there are water fountains all around, plus you can purchase bottled water at concession stands. Parents with kids should pack swimsuits for the Yakulla Caverns or Leapin' Lagoon.

Faqs
What Types Of Exhibits Can I Expect To See At Phoenix Zoo?
Expect to see some pretty cool stuff. You'll go bananas at Monkey Village, America's only walk-through squirrel monkey exhibit. At the Petting Zoo, brushing the goats and communing with cows, horses, and sheep are some of the highlights. And you can touch cownose stingrays and even feed them at interactive Stingray Bay.
Does Phoenix Zoo Have A Gift Shop?
It does, indeed, and it's called Desert Marketplace. Chock full of clothing, jewelry, hats, toys, artwork, stuffed animals, and books, the store is where you'll find the perfect souvenir to remember your visit or the perfect gift for that special someone back home.
