Levine Family Community Excellence Award. His commitment to strengthen the greater community transcends his 55-year legal career. Prior to retiring in May of 2018, Mr. Kurn spent the last 35 years as a Director at Fennemore Craig, P.C. specializing in estate and charitable planning. Starting in 1963, Mr. Kurn used his passion and professional knowledge to guide and serve as Chairman/President of many distinguished nonprofit boards, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix, Arizona Community Foundation, Arizona Bar Foundation, the Phoenix chapter of the American Jewish Committee and the statewide Leave a Legacy endeavor. He also served on several additional boards including Children\'s Action Alliance, Arizona Bar Association Board of Governors, Banner Health Alzheimer's Disease Institute, and Phoenix Symphony Support Foundation. This award recognizes all of his impactful philanthropic achievements throughout the years.\ \ Maya Schulder Rising Star Award recipient - Lindsey Seitchik\ \ Lindsey gives her talent, time, and skills to help transform the lives of members in the Martin Pear JCC family. Always seeking ways to give back to her community, Lindsey chaired the J's first fundraising "SMILE" campaign and was the Chair of the 2017 Community-Wide Purim Carn
